Phenomenal Women’s Alliance (PWA)
The PWA was formed in 2007 as a strategic alliance of individuals and organizations that support and encourage the advancement of women in leadership, education, and economic development. Women's development has been a focus of the Siegel Institute since the first Phenomenal Women's Conference (PWC) held in 2000.
While PWC conferences have been held every year since 2000, many women have expressed the need for "sustainability" in between our annual gatherings. The PWA now provides a variety of meaningful forums for exchange among women who are committed to shaping a leadership legacy and who want to make a significant difference in the world. The PWA relies on volunteers, individual initiative, collaboration, and private funding to support its programs.

We offer conferences to inspire, empower and equip women from all walks of life. Each event focuses on a theme to help women acquire realistic ideas and tools for personal and professional development. Our speakers include scholars, leading executives, practitioners, political leaders, authors, entrepreneurs, and women’s activists. Speakers inspire women with fresh ideas and insight into women in all spheres of leadership roles. Women get motivated to venture from where they are now to where they want to be. Our goal is to help women identify and access their strengths to fulfill their potential, and empower women toward success through the contexts of ethical leadership and character development.

WOMEN'S CIRCLES - ATLANTA AREA
Discover this worldwide phenomenon in which the feminine values of relationship, nurturing, and interdependence are empowering women to develop their full potential and achieve transformational change. Using the philosophy and principles of Parker J. Palmer and the work he calls "formation," women will experience a quiet, focused, and disciplined space in which the noise within us – and the noise around us – can subside and the voice of what Parker calls our “inner teacher,” can be heard. Gathering with other women in circle permits us to hear our inner teacher, identify what is meant by a meaningful, intentional life – our intentional life – and gives us courage to follow our true path. It is through connection – in a safe and confidential environment – that we allow ourselves to deepen and grow as individuals within community.
Conducted by Phyllis Carrera, Director of HumanArts. Find out more about HumanArts here.
